Vai is a unique beach, reminiscent of the Caribbean, with its golden sand and its thick vegetation of Palm trees. The greatest part of the palm tree grove is fenced in and is only open to visitors from sunrise to sunset, while free camping and overnight stays are strictly forbidden. Spend a day there, to feel like you have travelled beyond Crete.
